VINO RENESANSA : The rebirth of a winegrower as much as of a vineyard
Antoine Jaboulet-Vercherre comes from an historical line of winemakers in Burgundy. He also himself used to have a vineyard there during many years.
After stopping this activity and working in real estate in Paris for 10 years, he decided to come back to his passion : wine making.
20 years ago, he felt in love with Slovenia and decided 2 years ago to buy a vineyard in Maribor where the soil is exceptionnal for white wines.
His slovenian vineyard of 2.5ha is planted since 35 years and includes Renski Rizling, Kerner, Chardonnay and Laski Rizling.
His biological process allows to keep the quality of soil and to make an elegant wine with a complete process of vinification.
That is why, he produces a rich and complex wine thanks to the slovenian soil and his traditionnal burgundy method of way of making.
